Francis
Redman left depression torn Missouri in 1934 to seek a brighter future
in California. There he began his 27-year career with Southwestern
Engineering as a helper, working his way up to the position
of manager and eventually to vice president. In 1962 he left Southwestern
Engineering and founded Redman
Equipment & Mfg. Company as an answer to the petroleum industrys
need for a reliable, knowledgeable service provider.
His
two sons, Don and Jerry, joined the company in the mid-1970s.
During college breaks, they had worked in the Southwestern Engineering
Shop and also at Redman Equipment. By the time the boys joined the
family business, they were well prepared to carry on the Redman quality
tradition.
Today,
the Redman legacy spans yet another generation.
Janelle and G.W. Redman, grandchildren of the companys late
founder, have joined the management team. These two younger family
members bring technical expertise and fresh perspective to the solid
foundation on which the firm was built.
The cohesive
spirit and integrity common among all Redman employees is evident
each time you call. From company principals to shop technicians, each
Redman team member takes your service, quality, and schedule requirements
very seriously.
